【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthestabilityofgasolineinfinishedformonly,underacceleratedoxidationconditions.(Warning-Thistestmethodisnotintendedfordeterminingthestabilityofgasolinecomponents,particularlythosewithahighpercentageoflowboilingunsaturatedcompounds,asthesemaycauseexplosiveconditionswithintheapparatus.However,becauseoftheunknownnatureofcertainsamples,thepressurevesselassemblyshallincludeasafetyburst-discinordertosafeguardtheoperator.)Note1-Formeasurementofoxidationstabilityofgasolinebymeasurementofpotentialgum,refertoTestMethodD873,orIPTestMethod138.Note2-Theprecisiondataweredevelopedwithgasolinesderivedfromhydrocarbonsourcesonlywithoutoxygenates.TheacceptedSIunitofpressureisthekiloPascal(kPa);andfortemperatureinC.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
