【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheapparentviscosityofengineoilatlowtemperatures.Ashearrateofapproximately0.2sisproducedatshearstressesbelow100Pa.Apparentviscosityismeasuredcontinuouslyasthesampleiscooledatarateof1C/hovertherange5to40C,ortothetemperatureatwhichtheviscosityexceeds40000mPas(cP).Themeasurementsresultingfromthistestmethodareviscosity,themaximumrateofviscosityincrease(GelationIndex),andthetemperatureatwhichtheGelationIndexoccurs.Applicabilitytopetroleumproductsotherthanengineoilshasnotbeendeterminedinpreparingthistestmethod.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
