【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoprovideloadversusdeformationresponseofplasticsunderessentiallymultiaxialdeformationconditionsatimpactvelocities.Thistestmethodfurtherprovidesameasureoftheratesensitivityofthematerialtoimpact.Multiaxialimpactresponse,whilepartlydependentonthickness,doesnotnecessarilyhavealinearcorrelationwithspecimenthickness.Therefore,resultsshouldbecomparedonlyforspecimensofessentiallythesamethickness,unlessspecificresponsesversusthicknessformulaehavebeenestablishedforthematerial.Formanymaterials,theremaybeaspecificationthatrequirestheuseofthistestmethod,butwithsomeproceduralmodificationsthattakeprecedencewhenadheringtothespecification.Therefore,itisadvisabletorefertothatmaterialspecificationbeforeusingthistestmethod.Table1ofClassificationSystemD4000liststheASTMmaterialsstandardsthatcurrentlyexist.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofpuncturepropertiesofplastics,includingfilms,overarangeoftestvelocities.1.2Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodisrelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThisspecificationdoesnotcloselyconformtoISO6603.2.Theonlysimilaritybetweenthetwotestsisthattheyarebothinstrumentedimpacttests.Thedifferencesinstriker,fixture,andspecimengeometriesandintestvelocitycanproducesignificantlydifferenttestresults.
