【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirements,testmethods,andmaterialsfor4to36-in.diameterpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)corrugatedpipewithasmoothinterior.Thisprofilewallpipeconsistsofanoutercorrugatedwallfusedtoasmoothinnerwallprovidingpipestiffnesslevelsof46psiand115psi.Jointsandfittingsareincludedinthisspecification.1.2Therequirementsofthisspecificationareintendedtoprovidepipeandfittingssuitableforundergrounduseinnonpressureapplicationsforsanitarysewers,stormsewers,andperforatedandunperforatedpipesforsubdrainage.Note1Industrialwastedisposallinesshouldbeinstalledonlywiththespecificapprovalofthecognizantcodeauthority,sincechemicalsnotcommonlyfoundindrainsandsewersandtemperaturesinexcessof140176;F(60176;C)maybeencountered.1.3PipeandfittingsproducedtothisspecificationshallbeinstalledinaccordancewithPracticeD2321.Forperforatedpipeapplications,thesizeoftheembedmentzoneandpermeabilityoftheembedmentmaterialareimportanttothesystem'sabilitytoprovidethedesiredlevelofinfiltrationorexfiltration.Thegradationoftheembedmentmaterialmustbecompatiblewiththeperforationslotsizetoavoidbackfillmigrationintothepipe.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesprovidedinparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
