【摘要】:TheASMEB30Standardcontainsprovisionsthatapplytotheconstruction,installation,operation,inspection,testing,maintenance,anduseofcranesandotherliftingandmaterial-handlingrelatedequipment.Fortheconvenienceofthereader,theStandardhasbeendividedintoseparatevolumes.EachvolumehasbeenwrittenunderthedirectionoftheASMEB30StandardsCommitteeandhassuccessfullycompletedaconsensusapprovalprocessunderthegeneralauspicesoftheAmericanNationalStandardsInstitute(ANSI).TheB30Standarddoesnotapplytotrackandautomotivejacks,railwayorautomobilewreckingcranes,shipboardcranes,shipboardcargo-handlingequipment,well-drillingderricks,skiphoists,minehoists,truckbodyhoists,carorbargepullers,conveyors,excavatingequipment,orequipmentcoveredunderthescopeofthefollowingstandards:A10,A17,A90,A92,A120,B20,B56,andB77.TheB30Standardisintendedto(a)preventorminimizeinjurytoworkers,andotherwiseprovidefortheprotectionoflife,limb,andpropertybyprescribingsafetyrequirements(b)providedirectiontomanufacturers,owners,employers,users,andothersconcernedwith,orresponsiblefor,itsapplication(c)guidegovernmentsandotherregulatorybodiesinthedevelopment,promulgation,andenforcementofappropriatesafetydirectives.
